I was on the womens freedom ride and broke down right outside of town with major engine problems, they went above and beyond to get me home to Oklahoma. JJ and Jason were amazing through the entire purchase process. JJ went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and happy during the long wait for purchase & finance processing. The only bummer was how long we had to wait to get in to see the finance person, Jim. With as much business as you are doing, you only had two people to process the financing, we had to wait a long time for our "turn" (about 2 hours).
Overall, our experience was exceptional and I give extra kudos to JJ for his personalized support. Much appreciated!!!!! I'm from Iowa and my motorcycle broke down in Colorado. Mile High Harley in Denver said they wouldn't even look at my bike for 2 weeks. I ended up trucking my bike to my parents' house in Belen NM and started wrenching. I came in to buy a replacement stator and oil. I believe opening time was 10:00. I asked a guy that was going in and out what time you opened. he asked what I was needing and he worked in the parts department . It was only about 9:30, but he brought me right inside and helped me get the parts I needed to get me back on the road. The other employees were having a morning meeting. I was very impressed with talk about customer service and things they could work on to be better. I work for a company with very similar beliefs and it was nice to know that I was dealing with a dealership with the same values as mine. I want to recognize Josh Gallegos in Service for his expert advise on a situation I encountered with my motorcycle. Recently I upgraded my entire sound system to include another set of stage II Speakers. The set up included an additional amplifier located in my saddlebag. (Side Note) - Though everyone knows I'm extremely bias when it comes to Master Mechanic Antonio - my audio upgrade install was flawless - GREAT JOB)
OK, Back to Josh. At the start of the riding season I was getting ready for my heavy duty bike wash, which includes Saddlebag removal. I was at a loss on how to remove the amplifier plugs without breaking tabs. I contacted Josh at the dealership and he immediately walked me through the process. I even sent pics of the plugs to be sure of the process I needed to perform. I was successful in the removal with his guidance.
This is above and beyond the contractual scope of anyone's contract at Harley Davidson. His type of customer service cannot be taught in a classroom but is a character characteristic of wanting to help someone. These are the type of people I hope the dealership will continue to seek out and hire for any new positions. We were passing by and stopped in on Monday May 30th. When we first pulled into the dealership we noticed they for closed for the holiday. But to our surprise the side door was open and a gentleman asked if we were returning the rental bikes. Told him that we were from Wichita,KS that we work for ALEFS Harley Davidson. We didn't know if we could just leave cash for a POKER CHIP. HUGE THANKS goes out to PHILLIP for letting us in and picking up a couple poker chips. Not only did he let us in when they were closed but he gave us the chips. Thank you very much we will be back!!! Also lunch was great at Ricon the green chili beef burrito was great. Just Recently had the High Capacity Oil pan installed on my bike. I was able to leave my bike for the procedure to be performed. I am extremely particular with who is assigned to perform their magic on my bike. Master Mechanic Antonio is the only person I prefer to perform on my bike. This is the architect that created the flawless engine and accessory work during my involvement with the Biker Build Off event.
He is a talented young mechanic that has a gift in his field. The magic he performs on motorcycle cannot be taught in a classroom or a shop. His talent is celestial . My total experience with the entire dealership is now going on three years and I am greeted and treated like I have purchased a bike every day. TONS OF ENERGY IN ALL DEPARTMENTS. Joaquin Martinez, Dustin Hugh's, Marcia Wheeler, Phillip in clothing treat me great me as if I'm part of a family and it's never fake. I spend a great deal of time still asking questions about parts and how to put one more item on my bike. The entire parts department makes me feel like I have been a Harley owner for the past 20 years. I bought a 2015 Free Wheeler and traded in a 2011 Street Bob for it. The process was good and my salesman was informative. I did get them to negotiate with me but was surprised at how much more the color options were. I did get a wind shield, sissy bar and luggage rack with the bike. I wanted the crimson gold but settled for the vivid black as there was a 400.00 addition for the color. I love the Trike and got it so my wife would ride with me. After the test drive she was elated and felt comfortable on it. So away we went. I thought I would miss the two wheels but the Free Wheeler is a beautiful sports trike and was so glad that Harley came out with it. We have taken it on several rides and love the way it rides. We plan on some longer rides this year and being retired I use it a lot as the second vehicle.

I bought my bike July of 2014 and the entire staff still treats me like I bought my bike yesterday. Wonderful staff and my bike is serviced by one of the most talented machanics I have every met. Antonio knows exactly what my bike needs and great suggestions for my future. Also, the service did not wait for me to recieve my recall notice and took care of the recall issue immediately...AWESOME. The customer service at the entire dealership is always helpful and friendly. I am extremely pleased with my current bike but If I decide on a second bike I will be seeing Joaquin for my purchase!!!

Back in July my father had an elective heart surgery at the Heart Institute. Things didn't go so well and we lost him July 10, 2014. I live in Roswell, NM and rode my motorcycle to Albuquerque to be with him. I ended up staying longer than expected. I started to have problems with my 2014 CVO Breakout so I took it to Thunderbird. They could not duplicate the problem, but that didn't stop them from helping me. The service department manager at the time did some research and found out there was a problem with a few of these bikes. He not only fixed my bike within record time, he called a hotel nearby and got me a discounted room. They also took me back and forth to the hospital to see my father.

This is my third bike from Thunderbird and my first new bike! As always the sales and finance experience was awesome, the crew bent over backwards to make the deal happen. The parts and service crew again were incredible making sure my new accessories were installed quickly so we could take delivery. Over the next couple of days I stopped by with questions and as always I was taken care of quickly and professionally. Finally a week later as we were getting ready to go on vacation with our new bike, it broke down. The service team (special thanks to Thomas Meeks) jumped in to action to get our bike repaired and save the day. You guys rock and because of this you have a customer for life!!!

On June 2nd, my son and I stopped in to inquire about an oil change. We were just passing thru on our way back to Alberta Canada. Not knowing fully about the way your service dept. works we parked, went in side where we met Jerry. We explained that we were just passing thru, could he help us. We were told to park in the line up, where he took our information, then showed us the waiting area along with the store. The young ladies in the clothing department were quick to offer help with our purchases, the sales team took some time to talk, showed interest in who we were. Our service was done in a timely fashion, the bikes were road tested then washed, Jerry made a point to come tell us his shift was done and that the others in service would be there to help us. Now that we are back home again, when people ask about our trip, one of the discussions is about your dealership and how great we were treated. Love your dealership. First of all, it is big. Lots of bikes and lots of clothes and accessories. I've been to a lot of Harley dealerships and this one is definitely set up right. This place was also staffed well with plenty of sales associates who were extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and I had made our first trip to Albuquerque (from Cleveland, Ohio) and decided to rent a bike while we were there. Bailey in your rental department was very friendly and helpful and made that experience very pleasant. The bike and ride were great too. I highly recommend renting from them. Of course we also bought shirts and stuff too. And the girls in that department were also very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back to Albuquerque again and will definitely return to rent and buy more stuff. Great experience!

Had to write about the bike I just bought from Thunderbird Harley. Carl and Raleigh gave me top notch service from my very first phone call to them. Can't say enough about these two guys not to mention the entire crew at this shop. HIGHLY recommend them if your looking for a bike. I'm from Colorado and the bike I purchased was a pre-owned 2007 Big Dog Mastiff. I had a bad experience with a bike I purchased from a shop in Kansas and without even having to ask, Carl and Raleigh took it upon themselves to make sure this bike purchase was completely different and it was. Even though I was buying a bike that wasn't one of the famed Harley brand. Myself and my family were treated with the red carpet treatment from the time we drove on the lot and everyone we dealt with was happy, friendly and made us feel welcome. I didn't want to leave! Needless to say that the next time I'm in the market for a bike I will make this trip again!

We (6 bikers) shipped our bikes to Thunderbird HD from Virginia Beach, so that we could ride the southern Rockies over vacation. Thunderbird HD did an outstanding job accepting / unloading our bikes and had them ready to ride when we arrived at the dealership from the airport. After finishing our week long ride, they really made us feel welcome getting our scoots prepared for the journey back, fantastic customer service in parts replacing some broken headlights, and provided a complimentary shuttle to our airport hotel. Myself and 5 others had our bikes shipped out to Thunderbird HD for a one week ride. The bikes were dropped off at the dealership by the shipping company, we went for our ride and then dropped the bikes back at Thunderbird for pickup again. Thunderbird bent over backwards to support us. The bikes were ready for us when we arrived in Albuquerque and when we dropped them off again the staff was incredibly friendly and supportive. They took great care of us and even drove us down to our hotel when we were finished. Tigger was especially helpful and handled the driving down to the hotel. My 2012 HD Trike was towed to your shop after breaking down on I-40 east of Santa Rosa on May 28. Your service rep, Burns Forsythe did an OUTSTANDING job to make sure the Trike was secure and that I got to motel that night. He went above and beyond my expectations over the next several days to diagnose the problem and get the Trike fixed. Unfortunately they had to order a new engine, so I returned to Tucson on Thursday but Burns has kept me informed on the progress of the repairs. He is an outstanding representative of your company and you are very lucky to have him as an employee. I have spent close to $50,000 at Tucson HD over the last 2 years and get no service at all form those people, I came to your shop as a total stranger and was treated like royalty. What a difference! I wish your company would buy the dealer-ship here in Tucson so we could some great service like you provide to your customers in Albuquerque. We had came to Thunderbird in the past for service on other Harley's and Joaquin is a friend of ours. We then decided to buy our first brand new Harley (FYI I had been looking at this exact street glide special for a few months). Needless to say Joaquin did an amazing job as well as all the sales team.
